Working through the complete supply chain process with the customer’s manufacturers, Traffic Services made the recommendation to advise one of the customer’s vendors to move from the Midwest to the South, an area that had more transportation capacity and was more cost effective to ship to their distribution points. Results: The cost savings that the customer gained based on the recommendations from Traffic Services was significant and since relocating to the Southern US, the vendor has seen a bottom-line impact of more than 100%.
