Jan's Cabbage Salad

1 2 lb head of cabbage

8-10 green onions

1 stick butter

2 packages Ramen Noodles crumbled (discard flavoring)

1/2 cup of sesame seeds

2 1/2 oz of sliced almonds

1 cup oil

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1 cup sugar  

2 tsp soy sauce         

Mix cabbage and onion together in large container and refrigerate.  Sauté - butter, noodles, sesame seeds and almonds together over low heat until brown  - cool completely.   Combine oil, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce in a jar with good lid - shake well.  When ready to eat, combine noodle mixture and dressing to cabbage - mix well and serve.
