Current Opportunities: Title: Account Management Specialist Responsibilities: Consult with customer and regional sales representatives to determine customer’s freight needs and enhance the quality of service. Coordinate all aspects of customer shipments:
Prepare spot rate proposals in coordination with operations management for customer's inbound and outbound freight. Research truck capacity for given customer lanes, secure carriers and negotiate rates to insure acceptable profit margin. Promote teamwork and provide support and backup for other account management specialists as needed. Manage truckload and LTL freight for Traffic Services Department. Communicate with Traffic Services team member in insure on time pickups and deliveries. Develop new customers and promote additional freight, issue rate proposals and implement plans to increase company account base. Participate in after hours “On Call” schedule:
